For Chapter 2 of The Bridgerton Wedding Collection, we were honored to collaborate once again with Lyn to create a bridal line inspired directly by the show’s iconic characters, lavish costuming, and exquisite Regency aesthetics. This new chapter builds on the magic of our first collection, elevating every detail with a renewed focus on romance, craftsmanship, and character-driven design.

Crafting a Collection With the World’s Romance Expert

Working alongside Lyn Paolo is a lesson in how clothing can communicate feeling. Her creative eye sees beyond silhouettes and fabrics—she designs with emotion, narrative, and authenticity at the forefront. For this second chapter, she worked closely with our team to blend the heart of Bridgerton with the artistry and structure of couture bridalwear.

Each gown captures something essential—whether it’s the spirited intelligence of Eloise, the ethereal elegance of Sophie, the regal presence of Queen Charlotte, or the youthful charm of Hyacinth. Through this collaboration, we sought to honor the show’s most beloved elements while creating designs that today’s brides can truly make their own.

Below, Lyn shares more about her inspiration and vision for Chapter 2.

Designer Q&A with Lyn Paolo

Can you tell us more about your inspiration and vision for this Bridgerton bridal collection?

Inspiration for the line came from many sources. Of course the shows and the stunning Shondaland scripts are always the starting point for the design elements. I also look at historical images from the Regency and Georgian period but also fashion, and wedding style. The Allure team are great collaborators and they send swatches of their chosen findings/fabrics/lace etc. which also helps in the final design decisions. For instance with the Charlotte gown, the beading and lace detail were a major influence on the design.

Where did you draw the most inspiration from—characters, costumes, settings, or something entirely different and how did that translate to the dresses?

Capturing the Romance of the Bridgerton world was essential for this collection. We wanted to build on the last collection and to this end working with the Allure team we added small elements from the Regency era:

-Bows as seen in the simple yet elegant “Eloise” gown,

-Empire silhouette as seen in the gorgeous “Sophie” gown

-Intricate beading and applique work as shown in the “Charlotte” showstopper gown.

-Also, we want to be aware of our audience and their modern eye which lead us to the short “Hyacinth” gown which is so fun and embodies the character so well.

-Add to this exposed corsetry, a touch of lace and feathers and I think this second collection embodies the shows with an extra touch of elegance and a dreamy romantic feel for that glorious wedding day. I am sure the Ton would approve and a loud round of applause for the Allure design team who are an absolute joy.
