Morgan + Robert's Wedding

Today we're making all your boho-rustic chic wedding dreams come true with Morgan + Robert's wedding. Our bride, Morgan, describes saying 'yes' to marrying her husband as the easiest decision she's ever made, and the couple began wedding planning immediately. "I have always loved design and I wanted our wedding day to explode with character and thoughtfulness," said Morgan. "When I look back at pictures from our wedding day it was captured exactly as I remember it: magical."

I wanted the bridesmaids to feel their best and told them to find a style of dress they felt beautiful in. Of course, I had to give some direction so we went with floor length blush and neutral palette. I wanted lots of texture and was excited to add different prints! For the guys, we did a muted navy suit with a custom designed floral bow tie that Robert and I designed. When it came to the overall feel and “theme” of the wedding – I guess you can say it was boho, but more than anything I wanted it to feel like us. I wanted it to be bold, but soft. I wanted texture and depth and everything to be imperfectly perfect.

My florist and I hit it off from the very beginning and she just got me; she’s incredibly talented, and I trusted her to run with my vision. As you can see, she did not disappoint. All the colors, so much depth and texture and character all over the place. The different colors and texture with the macrame backdrop was a design dream. The massive tapestry I designed with “I have found the one whom my soul loves” is one of my favorite pieces from the wedding and is now hanging in our living room.

As you can see in the gallery from photographer Melissa Marshall, Morgan's vision fully came to life — all accented by her Allure Bridals gown, the classically elegant style 9304.
