Desert Styled Shoot

"I wanted to highlight all that New Mexico has to offer, from the mountain views, classic adobe architecture, and quirky pit stops with amazing food — all within a few miles,” photographer Carly Bennett explained of her desert styled shoot, featuring the Wilderly Bride ’Shelby’ and ‘Blair’ gowns. "When styling the model, I wanted to add a bit of Southwest flair to this stunning dress. We chose a felt wide brim hat and some turquoise earrings: a classic southwest accessory. We had so much fun exploring the local areas of Las Cruces, capturing the very essence of its small town charm.
"With the ever changing evolution of a wedding day, this motorcycle elopement is the perfect example of creating a day that reflects the uniqueness of love. For this particular edgy couple, that meant leather jackets, combat boots, beer, really good hair, and a motorcycle, all while retaining some traditional elements and elegance. New Mexico's weather did not disappoint with this shoot, providing sunshine at the start and a stellar lightning/ thunderstorm performance as a finale. It really added to the romance of the shoot. I had so much fun capturing such an electric couple, while showcasing the glamor and showstopping features of this dress."
