Anela + David's Wedding
Wednesday, July 31st, 2019
Let it be known that today’s Wedding Wednesday post features one of the absolute cutest stories and wedding themes ever!
Anela + David are both park rangers and met at a national park, soon bonding over a mutual love of the outdoors. "We love fishing, hiking, and backpacking together,” said Anela. "So when we finally got married, we knew we wanted to have an outdoor wedding in David’s parents backyard, inspired by nature.
"It was an intimate, no-fuss, and natural wedding with our nearest and dearest. We used willow and eucalyptus from around the property to decorate the reception. David’s mom harvested our honey favors from her own bees. We brought our own hand-caught wild sockeye salmon from Alaska for dinner. Everything was homegrown and harvested from the heart.”
What a beautifully personal way planning a wedding! We’re so in love with the details — from floral design to the dinner. To see more of Anela’s Madison James gown, click here. And many thanks to Vivian Chen Photography for providing the gallery for today’s feature!
