COVID-19 FAQs

I already ordered my dress. Should I be concerned about its arrival?

Our manufacturing facilities are working at nearly full capacity, and we are committed to not missing any weddings. Contact your retail store for updates, as many are offering contactless curbside pickups. If you have postponed your wedding, please contact the salon you purchased from to notify them of your revised wedding date. While a delay in your delivery is unlikely, there could possibly be a small delay from unforeseeable freight cargo constraints.

When should I start shopping for my dress amid social distancing?

While many of our brides have been dealing with postponing or re-scheduling their wedding date, it’s important not to completely stop the planning process. Use this time to research which salons you would like to visit when the mandatory closings have been lifted. Find the store that most closely fits your aesthetic and overall budget, and make arrangements for an in-store visit as soon as things return to normal. However keep in mind that the new “normal” could alter your previous shopping expectations, as some salons will be limiting the amount of people at appointments to maximize safety measures.

I don’t have a dress yet, and I’m getting married this Fall.

Many stores are offering Virtual Appointments, Online Stylist Consultations and At Home Try-Ons. Make sure to check out your local retailers Social Media channels for important updates on how you can still safely shop and purchase your dream dress. It’s important to note that we have hundreds of dresses in stock that our retailers are able to select for quick shipping, so you don’t have to give up on your perfect dress!

Are at home try-ons safe?

Our retailers are practicing all recommended health and safety measures to ensure home try-ons are safe for all brides. Many retailers are leaving the gowns isolated for a few days after they return, and are steaming the dresses at very high temperatures before they are sent out again. All couples should follow CDC guidelines for opening packages and other items. Every store will have different policies, so please reach out to each retailer to inquire more about the safety measures they are taking.

My wedding date has changed, and now the style of dress I ordered is all wrong.

So all along you’ve been planning a spring or summer wedding, and you’ve already ordered a dress that you don’t feel will fit the vibe for a fall or winter wedding? There are plenty of great options to get your spring dress winter-ready. We have many beautiful accessories, including capes, jackets, sashes, and veils. We can also work with your local retailer to order in extra fabrics to create sleeves, or other custom options. If you have a dress with a lot of volume, you can remove layers in the gown to minimize the crinoline and to create a more subtle look.

What resources are available to me if I have to postpone my wedding?

Many of our online partners are working around the clock to support brides that have had to postpone their weddings. Here is a list of helpful resources that will be able to assist you with all of your local vendors:

I need to cancel my order but the store I ordered from is closed.

Most of our stores are still open to receive calls and service customers with any questions or concerns. Keep trying to contact your retailer, and leave messages when you can. It may take up to 24-48 hours for some stores to reply due to their smaller staff and high demand of calls during this time.

Do you have any styles of dresses that can be rush-ordered?

Yes, we do! Check with your local bridal retailer and ask them about rush-order dress options.
